We look forward to seeing you this Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
We’re bigger than ever this year, with 32 sites, including 6 new gardens alongside our existing favourites.
We challenge you to visit them all, not forgetting stopping off to hear music in Chandos Road South, and having tea and cake all over Chorlton!
Entry is by programme; each programme (@£5) admits one adult (or child over 12) to all the open garden sites. Accompanied under-13s go free.
Programmes are on sale now during normal opening hours at:
- Chorlton Bookshop, Wilbraham Road;
- Creative Recycling, Beech Road;
- Blossom Flowers, Manchester Road; and
- Chorlton Nursery, Vicars Road.
On Sunday, programmes can be bought from Creative Recycling and Chorlton Nursery. Alternatively, you can buy them from an Open Garden if you see one on your way (Open Gardens will display our poster and have balloons at the entrance). Finally, we will be selling programmes outside the Unicorn on Sunday morning – and you can take the opportunity to visit the Unicorn’s marvellous roof garden.

Hi, we visited the Chorlton Open Gardens for the first time, last year, and we were spellbound. It was an amazing day and we intend to make a return visit in 2016. Please will you let me know the address to forward a SAE and cheque as we live quite a distance away. Thanks.
Hi, visited your open gardens last year, quite by chance, as we were passing through the area. This year it’s in our diary and we plan to come over from Prestwich to get more ideas for our own garden. Please send details of where I can
Send a cheque for programmes.
Anyone wanting to get programmes by post can send cash or a cheque made out to ‘Freedom from Torture’ to Merryn Cooke, 15 Totnes Road, Chorlton, Manchester M21 8XF enclosing an A5 stamped addressed envelope. Programmes are ready and on sale at the usual venues in Chorlton (Bookshop, Blossom Flowers, Creative Recycling and Chorlton Plant Nursery) Programmes cost £5 each and admit one person.
It has been mentioned that 29 sites are involved in the scheme but I cannot see any reference to exactly which sites these are. Any reason for not including this information on the website?
Yes. The details are available only in the programme, to ensure people buy a programme to visit the gardens. The programmes are now on sale at Blossom, Chorlton Book Shop, Creative Recycling on Beech Road, and Chorlton Nursery, as well as the next two sundays outside the Unicorn.

Because this is a fund raiser for a charity we ask that people buy programmes where all gardens are described and there is a map.
